The interdisciplinary research group Optimization and Systems Engineering (OSE) at Åbo Akademi University in Finland was recently appointed a Center of Excellence within research at the University for the time-period 2010-2014.

We are now searching for 1-3 PhD students in any of the following research and application areas:
- optimization,
- systems engineering,
- systems theory or
- mathematical statistics.
