Regulation of osteoclast differentiation and function and associated diseases including osteoporosis and bone metastasis of cancer (123) A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, a leading academic research institution home to four Nobel laureates and 18 members of the National Academy of Sciences. Out laboratory is looking for highly motivated scientists with a desire to engage in biomedical research focusing on the transcriptional regulation of development, metabolism and cancer. Specifically, a postdoctoral position is available starting March 15, 2010. The research focus is to investigate the regulation of osteoclast differentiation and function, in the context of osteoporosis and bone metastasis of cancer. Applications with background and interest in molecular biology, mouse genetics or biochemistry are encouraged to apply. A PhD and /or MD degree and first-author publications in international journals are required.
