The Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of California, San Diego http://cmm.ucsd.edu/
invites applications for a tenure track/tenure position at the
Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level. Applicants should have a
Ph.D., M.D. or combined M.D./Ph.D. and demonstrated ability to conduct
a state of the art research program using modern techniques in
molecular biology, cell biology, genetics or genomics to investigate an
area of science relevant to human disease.
Assistant-level candidates will be expected to show evidence of their
career potential through letters of recommendation and a publication
record appropriate for their experience. Associate-level candidates
must show evidence of a strong independent research record in their
specialization. Full Professors must show evidence of a strong research
record with a national and/or international reputation. The applicant
is also expected to teach and perform research training of medical and
graduate students as well as University service.
Salary commensurate with experience and based upon published UC pay
scales. Review of applications will begin January 14, 2010 and will
continue until position is filled.
