ur lab at Yale University School of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated post-doctoral researcher (http://www.yalepath.org/research_labs/wajapeyee/index.htm). The candidate will be expected to conduct research in the area of cancer genetics and genomics using state of the art technologies such as Genome-Wide RNAi Screens, high throughput Deep Sequencing and Small molecule library screens to understand the role of epigenetic silencing, cellular senescence and miRNA regulation in human cancers (see Gazin et al., Nature 2007; Wajapeyee et al., Cell, 2008; Santra et al., Nature, 2009; Palakurthy et al., 2009). The candidate should have hands on experience with mammalian tisuse culture, RNAi, and basic molecular biology techniques. Candidates experienced in high-throughput technologies and animal models of cancer will be given preference.
